"Wow! What a wonderful adventure with Julia. My partner and I enjoy being outdoors and hike a good amount, but this was a new, fun, and special experience. Julia was able to give us such a sweet and romantic elopement day. The pictures came out beautifully, but the experience is what I will remember and cherish the most. We had lots of laughs and a good amount of adrenaline :p My partner is not super into these types of festivities, but even he enjoyed this experience. People at Yosemite were very kind and hyping us up, the views were spectacular, we got a great hike in; the whole experience was healthy and wholesome, which was a great vibe to have for our special day and to start our marriage off with. Thank you Julia for planning the day and leading us. We appreciate your hard work all day (and night!) with artistic angles and lighting, great direction so we felt comfortable, keeping us on time, and crowd control while my husband and I just got to skip around happily and enjoy each other's company without a worry. "“I can’t say enough great things about our experience with Julia! From the initial interview to the wedding day (or days in our case) she was very personable and professional throughout the whole process. On our expected wedding day there were so many hiccups including the weather dropping 30 degrees over night with 30mph winds and heavy rain. Plus, I unexpectedly got sick after the first location we shot together for our private vows and had to cancel the whole day. Julia really came to our rescue, I was extremely upset but she remained in constant communication with my husband while I was getting sick and she rearranged her schedule just for us to meet right outside of Portland hours before her flight was due to leave. The second locations road was in unexpectedly terrible condition but she found an even better trail close by. She really thinks on the fly and can make the best out of every situation. We may have not gotten our beach pictures (due to weather and sickness) but instead we got these amazing cliff side and forested pictures! She really captured the details most important to us and created memories for us that we’ll never forget. Thanks to her our wedding was saved and our pictures turned out beyond expectations! We will always be grateful for our experience with such a compassionate soul and hardworking individual! If you’re worried about posing or pictures looking candid then Julia does a great job directing and making everyone feel comfortable! I can’t count how many times she made us laugh and smile like fools in front of the camera! We plan on using her services for some anniversary shoots and family photos in the future. "Julia was truly a one-of-a-kind photographer for our elopement in Africa! Despite me and Sarah’s awkwardness, Julia made us feel so comfortable and gave us endless ways to make the shoots feel natural.Julia captured the love that Sarah and I have for each other in a way that was so meaningful and heartwarming. We had the privilege of Julia shooting us on three days in Tanzania. The shooting locations all had their unique challenges - booking and timing issues, endless misting at the waterfall, and the heat + dust + wild animals + everything else you’d expect in the extreme wilderness on the Serengeti - and Julia handled them like the absolute professional she is. Julia was so patient with everything during the shoots - nothing was rushed, from scoping out the perfect spot for our commitment ceremony to waiting for the ambient lighting to be perfect. Julia is an expert at her craft and it shows through her work and professionalism. When Sarah and I talked about eloping, we knew one thing (even before we decided on a location) - that we wanted Julia to be the photographer. One of our highlights (and surprises!) came when we parted ways from Julia on our trip - Julia came into breakfast with a small hard cover album of more than 30 sneak peek polaroid print-outs to take along with us. “My husband and I recently had the pleasure of working with Julia to capture an anniversary shoot near Monument Valley. We cannot say enough good things about her and her talents! In fact, this is our second time working with Julia, as we were so impressed with her the first time. What sets her apart is her unwavering commitment to her clients. The day we were supposed to shoot, it rained during our scheduled time and they closed the road to Monument Valley. Always prepared, she did additional research before arriving, knowing there was a possibility the weather would not cooperate. We ended up in the Valley of the Gods, a Monument-Valley like area only 30 mins away, where we had almost the entire landscape to ourselves. What could have been a disastrous shoot turned into one of our greatest experiences as a couple. Adding, her warmth and friendliness will put you at ease instantly, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, allowing even the shyest individuals to shine in front of the camera. She is also quite adventurous- the perfect person to bring with you to the edge of any cliff, through any forest, and atop any mountain. Choosing to get married (or just do your wedding photos) at San Francisco’s stunning City Hall is a great choice!
City Hall is one of my all-time favorite places to shoot in the city. With its elegant feel, grand staircase, and incredible architecture it’s the perfect place to create timeless photos.
My City Hall elopement package starts at 2 hours, but additional hours (and locations!) can be added on to create the day of your dreams. Happy to help you plan out anything and everything.
Starting at $2000 for 2 hours

Package 1: 2 Hours at City Hall – $2,000
Two hours is the minimum amount of time I need to fully capture your day at City Hall. It’s a big, beautiful building with so many amazing photo spots, and two hours ensures we aren’t rushed. For weddings with fewer than 10 to 15 guests or for just the two of you, this is usually the perfect amount of time to capture your ceremony, group photos, and portraits around the venue.Package 2: 3 Hours – $2,800
This option is ideal if you’ll have more than 15 guests joining you at City Hall. Three hours allows plenty of time for your ceremony, group photos, and couple’s portraits without feeling rushed. You can also use this package for two hours inside City Hall and one additional hour at another location around San Francisco for even more variety in your photos.Package 3: 5 Hours – $4,500
This package is perfect if you want more of your story documented. We can customize the coverage however you’d like—whether that’s getting ready photos, portraits at multiple locations around San Francisco, or coverage of your celebration afterward.Need more than five hours of coverage? No problem! We can create a day that’s custom to your needs!
